SYNOPSIS
The ice planet has given me a second lease on life, so I’m thrilled to be here. Sure, there’s no cheeseburgers, but I’m healthy and ready to be a productive member of the small tribe.
What I didn’t anticipate? That there’d be a savage stranger waiting nearby, watching me. And when he takes me captive, the unthinkable happens… I resonate to him.
Resonance means mating, and children… but I don’t know if this guy’s ever been around anyone before. He’s truly a barbarian in all ways, right down to clubbing me over the head and claiming me as his own.
So why is it that I crave his touch and hunger for more?
MY REVIEW
3.5/4 Har-Loh Stars
Although their story wasn’t my favourite, it was very cute and I loved Rukh and Harlow.
āI,ā he says, grazing his thumb over my mouth. āWill always need you. A male cannot exist apart from his heart.ā Neitherā
The book begins when Harlow is kidnapped by Rukh and taken to his cave. Before she was capped in the head by this barbarian, she’d felt her Khui purr. When she woke up, she first saw an alien. He was dirty all over, stunk and was stark naked. But not only that…he was also ignorant to her language and the language of the sa kuhis-sakh.
The love and sexual relationship between Harlow and Rukh is instant-no shock there. I adored the communication between them both and how Harlow took care of Rukh and thought him how to do certain things he was unknown to.
āShit?ā he repeats, and touches my cheek. āHarlow shit?ā
