I’ve never spent a day without my mate since arriving on the ice planet. I’m happy and in love, and we have a beautiful child together. All that changed when the world shook.
My mate nearly died.
He wakes up from his coma…and he can’t remember me. Or our son. Every memory of the past two years is gone. And that changes everything between us. How can I love someone that doesn’t remember me?
How can I not, when I know he’s still my mate underneath it all?
I was so sure that I would not like this one but it was one of the best ones yet.
The book begins when the Tribe’s home has fallen due to the earthquake that ruined almost everything. Pashov was badly injured and has lost his memory. He doesn’t remember the humans, the ship they came in and he does not remember his mate Stacey and their kit, Pacy.
“You are who you are. Make no apologies for it.” He presses a kiss to my forehead. “I would change nothing about you.”
Stacey is struggling. Her heart is broken when Pashov wakes up and doesn’t remember her or their child. Not only that, but they now have to move from their safe haven and travel to another place. Stacey isn’t interested in hunting or outdoors activities, and so the travelling is not easy on her. While moving with her tribe, she deals with her feelings for Pashov who’s very distant.
“It is time to stop ignoring what has happened. I am not whole. I am missing a vital part of who I am…because I am missing you, Stay-see.”
I loved their relationship! We didn’t really get to see how they fell in love so this story shows us how strong their relationship really is. There were some parts in this book that irked me; their communication! They confused each other (and me) with their lovey dovey scenes only then to start ignoring each other!
Overall, a very good love story!
