Meh.
After finishing Bentley’s story I was really looking forward to Aiden and Cami’s story. I loved them in the first installment of this series. Aiden was such a devoted best friend of Bentley and Cami was a great friend and sister. But oh was I disappointed. Aiden was the biggest douche and Cami was such a doormat heroine! I wanted Cami to give him a hard time and to stand up after he pushed her down. But instead she always ran back to him, forgiving him too easily. Nuh uh, girl!
I really wanted to like this book.
I love Melanie’s writing especially in her book ‘The Contract’. So when I found this series and read the description I really thought I’d love it but turns out this book ruined it for me and I DNF at 76%.
I might give the next book a chance but won’t keep my hopes up as I did for this one.
